Experimentation

I'm usually not one to act against expert advice, but when I read in the May 2009 issue of Esquire that, according to Dr. Mehmet Oz, "the best reason not to take [a multivitamin] before bed is that B vitamins can give you weird dreams," I knew I immediately had to sample these strange dreams. I don't care if you're a heart surgeon; dreams are inherently weird, Dr. Oz.

I don't take a multivitamin, only a Super B complex because I'm a vegetarian, and I decided I would run some trials before sharing this information with you all. I've taken my B vitamin on 5 different occasions at night instead of the morning, and I've dreamt vividly all 5 times. I even took a night off to see whether I would still have access to my crazy subconscious (I didn't). If you can appreciate the wild workings of your brain, I definitely encourage you to try this experiment yourself; let me know if it works for you!
