Uncle Dan - a king, for certain

These wooded men of wisdom (alright, so maybe not Santa) are the products of Uncle Dan, a humble man that produces these high quality walking sticks and leaves them around the Northwest DC area for the benefit of all to use. Thus far I've found two - #17 and then #23, while my friend Logan was the first of my friends to find one, #13 (also pictured). Furthermore, my friend Ben found one after Logan but before myself, and my friend Frank found one in between my two (Ben's and Frank's discoveries were not available to photograph).

I don't mean to make it sound as though it's a competition to see who can collect the most; as readers can see, each stick is numbered and engraved with "Use it then leave it." I intend to leave Santa Claus somewhere in PA this summer, and ideally take the other Old Man somewhere else in the country. I think they're simply too cool to put back in the same park.

EDIT. B-Silv contacted me within 2 hours of this post's publishing to correct me. He actually was the first to discover the handiwork of Uncle Dan, followed by Logan. I'm too lazy to correct this above. It should also be noted that Ben had the opportunity to sip single malt scotch with our favorite outdoor artisan.
