Tomfoolery to the core!

HOW COULD I HAVE ALMOST FORGOTTEN?!

I feel compelled to share a lesson I learned that will undoubtedly benefit all, and that's to never, ever perform a Chinese fire-drill before emptying your pockets with everything of value. I had to borrow my sister's car due to my own station weapon's problems, and inconveniently her keys didn't have the carabiner clip I was so familiar with using. To substitute, I just tucked the keys into my back pocket with the longest keychain, a strap of leather with some stupid medallion at the end. Anyway, it was during my Chinese fire drill that the keys flew out of my back pocket. I didn't realize this until about an hour later, and consequently had to go back and look for the keys in the dark. Did I mention I did 'the drill' multiple times? Fortunately I located them with the help of friends at the first red light. The remains were spread all over the road from being run over-the leather fish, no longer attached, the compass, broken, but, luckily enough, my sister's Volvo's only key-banged up, but straight enough to work!
